The above scenario gave me a headache as immediately I though if I am installing virtually and say created a 20gig virtual windows image. Going back to my original question I googled how to create a "Golden" Windows 7 image, The guys suggested installing a Clean installation of Windows 7 virtually and then sysprepping and capturing the image. I am a noob when it comes to these technologies :) I managed to install a server 2008r2 trial on a system so will have to sit down and have a tinker.
